Is Refil free?
Yes. Downloading and using Refil is free: you see the map with the cheapest servo for your fuel at no cost. Refil Pro is an optional subscription that widens the search radius and unlocks extras.
How does Refil find the cheapest servo?
It uses the price data service stations are required to report to their state scheme — FuelWatch in Western Australia, FuelCheck in NSW, the ACT and Tasmania, the Queensland Fuel Price Reporting scheme, the SA Fuel Pricing Information Scheme and Servo Saver in Victoria — and highlights the cheapest station for your fuel in green. The Northern Territory has no reporting scheme, so it is not covered.
Which countries does it cover?
Australia plus Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Denmark and Argentina for fuel, and EV charging in the United Kingdom and the United States as well.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Refil works with no sign-up or account, and your precise location never leaves your device.
Does it work for electric cars too?
Yes. It shows chargers across every market it covers, with filters by connector (CCS, Type 2, CHAdeMO, NACS…) and charging speed.
